Oil up! Freak out! Dow up? Shut up! The state-run media in Canada (and the citizen-owned media who do their best to compete with them) all lament, daily (with intra-day lament updates, all day long), the price of a barrel of oil, and the resulting price of gas. According to Indianapolis Metro police Lt. Jeff Duhamell, the victim, who is five months pregnant with twins, was conscious but in serious condition when she was taken from the scene to Methodist Hospital to undergo surgery. Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard told 6News that the bullet did not strike the unborn children.

BMW names Tom Purves CEO of Rolls-Royce BMW has announced that Tom Purves will become the new CEO of Rolls-Royce, effective July 1st. Purves, 59, will be taking over the position from Ian Robertson, who in turn be taking over Stefan Krausewill's position as head of BMW's sales and marketing.
